Festival Miden presents Greek videoart at Art:screen, Sweden

Festival Miden has been invited to present a special program at Art:screen festival, Örebro, Sweden, 5-7 of October 2012. The program is entitled IN CASE OF EMERGENCY, BREAK GLASS and presents 11 notable contemporary artists and groups from Greece. Starting with an intangible surreal world, where in a strange happy (?) place a “magnificent beast is worshiped and exploited”, the program gradually leads us, through metaphors, symbols, artistic/fictional/historical references and subversions of existent realities, to one specific place: contemporary Greece.
