Video Art Miden screenings at “The Next Station” exhibition, Partheni historic railway station, Arcadia (GR)

Video Art Miden participates with the video art showcase “a-broad”, curated by Olga Papadopoulou, in “The Next Station” exhibition, which will take place at the historic old railway station of Partheni, Arcadia (GR), 13 of August 2026, 21:00.

“The Next Station”, a significant cultural initiative by the “Orizontas Gegonoton” [Event Horizon] artistic network, is an ongoing project that includes periodic exhibitions and multi-thematic events in old and abandoned railway stations. The project began in March in Nafplio and continues its journey throughout 2026 to railway stations across the Peloponnese, transforming them into spaces for art, remembrance, and public dialogue. Its goal is to keep the connection between local communities and their stations alive and to highlight, through art, the significance of the Peloponnese’s railway heritage. On August 13 “The Next Station” visual arts exhibition will be hosted at the historic Partheni Railway Station, in collaboration with the Partheniotes Association.

The exhibition features works by artists, exploring themes of travel, departure, anticipation, memory, and the symbolic significance of the railroad. Through painting, sculpture, installations, photography, and other forms of contemporary artistic expression, the Station once again becomes a hub for gathering, culture, and collective storytelling.
