ATTRACTION OF THE OPPOSITES + IFFR

The project “Attraction of the opposites” brings together 11 professional international galleries to co-exist under one roof. The project will be presented in the space of Artist Initiative CUCOSA.  In collaboration with the International Film Festival Rotterdam it presents a rolling film program with contributions of 6 international video art festivals: Festival Miden (GR), CologneOFF (DE), Art:Screen (SE), FiXc (FI), Black Duck+Red Nomade (ES/AR), Art by Chance (TR), a Dutch video session and 7 video-installations with work of Alexis Milne, Mara Castilho, Jan Robert Leegte, Cindy Jansen, Ruveanne Gerrissen, Katharina D. Martin and Hernan Marina.

In this context, Festival Miden presents a selection of videos by Greek contemporary artists, in two screening programs entitled “All Greek to Me” and “Not All Greek to Me”, curated by Giorgos Dimitrakopoulos & Gioula Papadopoulou.
